July Quilt Block

I decided I wanted to learn paper piecing so I did lots of research on the internet and and found some good tutorials and patterns and I ultimately made this lovely patriotic block for July's quilt group.

And while I was on vacation I bought some fun bright fabric at Jo-Ann's for the next month!

It is so fun and bright, I had fun picking it out! I hope my quilt group gals will enjoy making blocks from these bright colors. :)
