Latest Project: Doubble Hourglass Quilt

I have so many projects in the works and I finally took pictures of one! Ever since I saw this tutorial on one of my favorite blogs I knew I had to make one.


This is my first couple of test blocks.

I am about half way through cutting, and I discovered I can get three blocks from each fabric strip! I really had no idea how much fabric I would need to make this quilt, and it turns out that I will have plenty of this fabric left over to make more fun quilts.

Here is a picture of a double hourglass quilt that I saw at a fun quilt shop at Gardner Village with Mer Mer last Thanksgiving.
