Finished my very first quilt!!

Woo Hoo I completed my first quilt!! I pieced it and quilted it and bound it all by my self. There was only one part that my sister helped me with. I was doing home work so she helped stitch the sail boats on after I had ironed them on with Heat n' Bond iron on adhesive.



Here is the detail of my nephews name I stitched to one of the the boats. I debated which boat to put it on and I know it would have been easier to read on one of the other boats, but that's the one I wanted it on.

Here you can see some of the fun echo quilting I did around the boats.

The back shows all the quilting really nicely.

And this picture shows the little strip of piecing I put on the back, I think it looks so cute.
