My first Jelly Roll

I bought my first Jelly Roll of Moda Neptune fabric last summer with a cute pattern to make a quilt with dreams of finishing it before Christmas. Well when school started in the fall and all my sewing was placed on a shelf reality sunk in and I knew I'd never get it done before then. I cracked open my Jelly Roll last week and almost finished the quilt top yesterday for MLK day. All that's left to do is squaring up the sides and then of course quilting and binding. Confession here, I have no idea how to machine quilt and I'm more than a little intimidated about attempting it. And that's why I haven't completed a single quilt yet, but I'm hoping to soon!

I had a lot of fun making this quilt top and it was SO very easy, and that of course helped make it fun!
