It's my first quilt something was bound to go wrong, right?

I just didn't do a good job piecing the quilt together I guess. I'm thinking it may be the pink gingham triangles that are causing the problem. They look like they are pulling on the other squares and making the ripples. Or did I not sew the squares together right? The pattern said "scant 1/4inch seam allowance throughout" what does a "scant" quarter inch seam look like?

It looks like all your light pink triangles are bias edges up to straight of grain. I believe that is why it is puckering.
I know it would be not fun to take them off with a seam ripper and re-cut them on the straight of grain but I would do that to remedy the puckering.

I'm not gonna seam rip it all out I think I'll just do a bunch of crazy quilting on top and just live with the results.
